SOSTIENI L’ASSOCIAZIONE BELLUNESI NEL MONDO. DIVENTA SOCIO

Resi noti dall’Ambasciata d’Italia a Londra i vincitori del premio “Italy Made Me”, edizione 2022.

Il riconoscimento è dedicato ai ricercatori italiani a inizio carriera che operano nel Regno Unito e che si sono formati, almeno in parte, in Italia.

Trentasei le candidature ricevute. Tre i settori di concorso: Life Sciences, Physical and Engineering Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities.

Nella categoria Life Sciences i vincitori sono Sara Campinoti, per lo studio “Decoding the niche(s): study of the haematopoietic foetal liver and fibrotic adult liver niches using bioengineered 3D systems”, e Miriam Scarpa, con “Phosphorylation-dependent signalling of the M1 muscarinic acetylcholine receptor provides neuroprotection against neurodegenerative disease”.

Nella sezione Physical and Engineering Sciences il premio è stato assegnato a Michele Win Tai Mak, con “Deterioration and Cracking in Reinforced Concrete Bridges”, e a Diego Panici, con “Assessing debris-induced scour and hydrodynamic forces to bridge piers”.

Ad affermarsi nell’ambito della Social Sciences and Humanities, Giulia Tozzi, per “Narco-deforestation: the environmental effects of coca cultivation”.
